We've got some exciting news for Ameta! For those not quite satisfied with their current position within their guild, they now can have the opportunity to rise through the ranks of some of Ameta's most elite societies. For the first time in over a Century a handful of the clans and orders within Ameta have decided to open themselves up for new membership. All who wish to join are welcome, and everyone has equal opportunity to rise to greatness within these circles.
Each individual character can join any clan, regardless of what guild they're in! In order to join please note the group to sign up! Your character's name should be the subject of the note, and tell us which clan they're joining in the contents. There should be only one character per note, please don't put in more than one character's clan application in the same note. Once your note is sent, you will receive the first task your character must perform in order to be initiated into their clan. Once that task is complete, you will be able to freely complete clan tasks in order to rank up and gain new perks within the clan! Follow the links below to find out more detailed information on each clan to decide which one you'd like to join.
If you change your mind about your clan, you can simply note the group to leave or switch clans. However,
if you leave a clan before you reach rank 10 you will lose all that clan's perks and special items, and will have to start from scratch again if you decide to rejoin a clan! In order to keep your perks you must reach the highest rank in a clan before switching.
As of today the following clans are welcoming new members:
-
The Tinkerer's SocietyThe most skilled inventors and craftsmen make up this clan, keeping their trade secrets locked up tight. Creating miraculous machines and recovering lost technology from the surface, this society is for those who constantly wish to seek knowledge. Rumor has it that those who can reach the coveted rank of master tinkerer will be capable of learning the Society's most ancient secret– the means of creating an Automaton; the secret of creating life.
-
The Carnival TroupeBased out of the Carnival of Curiosities, the single goal of this clan is to bring a bit of joy to Ameta through the individual efforts and talents of its members. Actors, performers, and people simply with good hearts work together in this clan in order to put smiles on people's faces. Those who stand at the highest ranks within the Carnival are given the opportunity to learn and master the most advanced tricks of the performer's trade– including the ability to produce fake magic, even if you're not of a magical race.
-
The Edwards FamilyOne of the roughest gangs in Ameta, most major crimes can in one way or another be traced back to this clan. The Family has influence in all the corruptible edges of the four guilds, dealing in guns, drugs, and whatever other stolen goods you wish to get your hands on. Those who are willing enough to get their hands dirty and make the highest ranks of this clan will have plenty of lesser thugs under their command, and the protection of the family to keep the law off their backs.
-
The People's PoliceAlthough not truly affiliated with the Militia or its laws, this group is a driving force of justice in Ameta. Striving for the safety of all under their watch, the People's Police consists of strong and kind-hearted folk who do whatever they can to help the helpless. From guardians watching over the streets, to charitable souls offering their time and care, to even some more superhero-esque vigilante seekers of justice, the police welcome all within their ranks that seek to do good. Those higher up on the ladder are seen as great heroes, with all the glory and fame that comes along with it.

The Order of New EarthFormerly a rather secretive and private organization full of strange people and ritual-like tradition, the Order seeks to revive the ancient cultures of the surface world and recolonize the earth. Their primary agenda is the preservation and restoration of the past. They are most recognized for their large contributions to historical documentation of the surface world, and have opened scores of museums across the guilds showcasing surface artifacts in the hopes of educating the masses about their roots. There are rumors that those of high rank within the order are given the opportunity to start and rule over their own surface settlements, helping bring about this “new earth” the Order seeks.

The Adventurer's ClubMade up of some of the bravest and boldest Ametans, this clan was founded to satiate the wanderlust of its members. Be it treasure hunters, researchers, or just sightseers, the club is for those who wish to explore every inch of the sky and surface. Those who join are always sure to have a welcoming place to stay no matter where they drop anchor, with clubhouses being hidden in nearly every port. Shipbuilders partnered with the club have built some of the finest vessels ever to set sail across the skies. The greatest adventurers in the club can even gain access to its massive collections of maps, sure to lead them to ancient treasures, unknown places, and the adventure of a lifetime.
